Is there some way to reset the printer to manufacturer settings? You had better not tell me that my printer is now unusable, because although it's out of warranty, it's about 2 years old. At the moment I have the above 'titled' ink jet cartridge installed and on my printer screen it reads 'No Ink'. They sometimes (like for a single page) but usually DON"T WORK, even when I bought additional authorized, official HP cartridges, and removed the tape, and followed the directions for installing, and made sure my printer was plugged in (that's a joke, son). So I went out and bought AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL HP INKJET CARTRIDGES. As soon as I did, the current 'READY' cartridges would no longer work. About a month or so into it, I decided to try the Instant Ink Ready program, but after about 8-12 months, and having received 1 or 2 new cartridges, I realized that I wasn't using ink fast enough to justify remaining in the program.
